Menopause

Menopause

Perimenopause begins around age 35-40 and progresses until the ovaries are no longer able to make estrogen (menopause). All women who live long enough will experience the changes associated with hormonal depletion. However, few are educated on what to expect, how to navigate these changes, what options are available and safe, and ultimately how to obtain their best quality of life and long-term health. In fact, most physicians have little to no menopause training in medical school or residency and feel ill-prepared to offer individualized support.

Dr. Kroll is passionate about changing the narrative and optimizing a woman’s journey through this hormonal transition. Having experienced menopause herself, she understands the complex and nuanced journey of each woman. As she often states, “knowledge is power” and by educating her patients they can make informed decisions about their care.
