With over 26 years of medical experience and a successful private practice, Dr. McConaughey has recently introduced concierge medicine in order to provide highly personalized, relationship-based care. This model allows him to dedicate more time to each patient, offering an unhurried, comfortable environment that supports deeper conversations, thorough evaluations, and proactive wellness planning.

Dr. McConaughey provides comprehensive medical care for both men and women, ranging from preventive health and chronic disease management to acute care needs. He maintains active hospital privileges at both Hoag Hospital and Orange Coast Memorial, ensuring continuity of care should hospitalization or additional medical services be needed.

Dr. McConnaughey graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from UCLA. He attended the University of California, Davis School of Medicine where he graduated with honors in the top five percent of his class. Dr McConnaughey received his internal medicine training at the University of Washington. Following completion of his residency, he served one year as Chief Resident. Dr. McConnaughey is Board Certified Internist and a member of the American College of Physicians.
