Aileen has been with Dr. Gigi Kroll since 2008. Prior to that, she had a variety of experience in women’s healthcare, and worked as a labor and delivery nurse. Aileen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University and her nurse practitioner training at the Harbor/UCLA Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in nursing from California State University, Long Beach. This was accomplished while maintaining Dean’s List status and honor society memberships.

Aileen has always had a passion for fitness and nutrition, understanding these two elements are the foundation of disease prevention. She has obtained additional training in obesity medicine and is passionate about helping individuals take control of their metabolic health.

Aileen has two daughters, one of which has followed in her footsteps as a nurse. She enjoys surfing, cross-fit, time with her girlfriends, and adventures with her husband Michael. Aileen is also a member of the Menopause Society and has attended their National Conference annually. She and Dr. Kroll collaborate and provide a comprehensive team approach to patient care.
